Where's the confidence?

What happened to you as a kid that destroyed your confidence?

That's the question I'm going to ask ANYONE that comes up to me again and say's, 'Woody, I just can't make money online!'

Huh?

In my worldview, this isn't even a question that deserves to be in my mind.

Let's look at this.

(This is for the men out there… but ladies, it's just a story).

Before I was married, I 'dated' more woman than anyone I knew. A friend of mine once asked how I did it. He wanted to know if I studied the pickup artists or any of that crap… of course, I told him no.

My answer was simple.

I just had the balls to walk up to a woman I was interested in and start a conversation. I wasn't needy. I wasn't shy. I was upfront from the beginning what I expected from her (no, not what you are thinking).

I was confident.

I wanted her and I went for it. What did I have to lose? A rejection? Sure… that happened, but not NEARLY as much as you would think.

Like woman, confidence will get you far in business.

You have to KNOW in the deepest recesses of your mind that you will overcome and conquer. The prize is yours BEFORE you even approach it.

How is confidence built?

By stepping out of your comfort zone and failing. Once you fail, you will realize it wasn't so bad and you will be able to do it again… but better.

Think about it.

Great idea. I think everyone of us felt like we were 10 feet tall and bullet proof when we were 15-24.

I am a bit older than you Woody(OK I could be your dad–I WAS in Houston in the 70's)—-{joke} and I wonder what happened to that guy. Of course I saw him a few years ago as my teenage son.

JF Straw basically says to go for it. If you go for it and miss you will still end up better off than 95% of the worlds population.

We have no debtors jail and jobs are really easy to find if you just need to cover rent and groceries(For those of you in other countries the laws may be different) while you plan your next business endeavor.

If you lose it all you can get it back and have it better in a short time here in America. There is no greater country on earth to do that. No disrespect to anyone however I am proud to be an American.

We need to start a group—call it the Ain't stopping till I get it all club—-who knows what we can do individually and together.

I've run across the perfect video for this topic.
It displays courage, teamwork, overcoming obstacles, and most importantly not giving up. It may even display doing something against your nature for the attainment of the goal.

Even when it comes at you from every direction as you will see in the video. It's about 8 minutes long but is basically finished at 7

Woody, I did a post like this 2 months ago. It is about increasing your comfort zone: http://deanhunt.com/how-big-is-your-comfort-zone/

Worth a read in my humble opinion.

I would like to invite readers to read my "focus on being a millionaire" article here:
http://www.search4article.com/review/for-the-millionaire-focus-minded
The fact is: only one out of 270,000,000 Americans will become a president and less than 5% will make it to a millionaire's status within the next five years.

Fact again: Only about 5% of us (in the world)can really focus on a dream, work the variables and achieve the desirable results.

Confidence is a mainly a factor that constitutes an itegrated mix of honesty, value contribution, accountability, well thought out goals and consistent control.

Most of us who come online seeking to make money do with the overly eager anticipation of making ten grand as quick as yesterday without any set systems in place in realise such a result.

There are those among us who believe that because millions of internet users are online every hour a day it is the easiest thing to stuff your bank accounts with thousands of dollars each day by simply sending out a bulk email campaign to a million "optins"

Apart from the confidence factor for the average entrepreneur there are also the relationship, trust and value for value factors. Answer this: what can I give that is perceived by the ordinary person reading my offer as "value to the prospect" that is seemingly in excess of what the prospect will agree to pay for.

The problem with the above question is that most people might have a "good thing" worth paying for but is having a hard time proving the value of what they are offering.

I could go on for miles but I will allow space for other insights, however, in the interim I would advise the rest of us to set up a systematic approach to making money online as it is not rush in and rush out with a bag "o" gold from internet marketing. Sorry it just doesn't work like that.

Good stuff, Woody. Thank you.

Woody, i don't know how you manage to come out with this article that somehow fits the predicament i'm currently in right now.

I need confidence, lots of them. Today i logged in to my cpanel and found out all my databases are GONE. All my articles, affiliate links just disappeared from the face of the earth.

In one fell swoop, all my domains in that host with the databases missing just crashed and burned. I stared for a while in utter disbelief. I felt like crying.

Damn, i should have make backups. Confidence in starting all over? You bet.

Dude, you scare me sometimes.

Great stuff. I've done nothing but fail online. It sucks and it's depressing. I was a martial arts bum all my life and there's no money in that. But give up? I'll procrastinate on that one, thanks.
