Interruption Marketing
I've been a big fan of interruption marketing in the past.
I've changed the home page on browsers, added my link to the visitors favorites menu, dropped icons on the desktop, used extended delayed popups… ALL of which increased my response. I don't do this anymore because I don't want to be sued, go to jail, and visited by bubba and his buddies in a dark cold cell at 2am.
So I've all but abandoned these practices… until today.
I was searching for a new CPA offer to promote when I came across this page. It's an auction success kit that has a killer automated chat box that makes it appear as if you can communicate with a live agent (you can't, I tested it). This occurs upon leaving the site. They also add popups to the mix which, of course, makes them even more money… even if it's just $.01 per click.
If this auto chat box is publicly available as a script, I want it! If not, looks like I will be tasking my programmer…
Enjoy,
Woody

HAHA! I spotted those things when doing a search for a CPA program too.
Had me fooled the first time. Very clever!
