How to write an effective email promotion in less than 4 minutes and 22 seconds
Welcome back sunshine! It's nice to see you coming back to my blog once in a while.
Chances are you will see a MASSIVE amount of emails arriving in your inbox today for a report called the IM Myth.
It's understandable as every download earns the referrer $1.00.
Now, when you download the report, you are given the opportunity to promote it as well. You are even given sample emails to use… which is what the average marketing chump will use and as more chumps use it, its effectiveness will quickly diminish and the bitching from the jaded asshole crowd will begin in the popular marketing forums.
So what can you do that's different?
How about write a promotion using the very bullets on the sales page? Sounds simple right? That's because it is. Allow me to demonstrate this…
Here's the canned email provided:
Subject: (Firstname), Is Internet Marketing A Myth?
Body:
Hey (Firstname),
I've taken a lot of internet marketing courses and read a lot of ebooks. Most of them talk about the same:
–Sign up for an autoresponder
–Create a squeeze page
–Create a series of emails
–Rinse and repeat
You can make a
But you can make a lot more if you start harnessing offline marketing in your business.
You see, online marketing is preached as the "holy grail" of marketing.
But ask the big information marketing powerhouses like Agora, Boardroom, and Weiss where the REAL money is made. They absolutely clean house offline…humiliating any online marketer who comes in their path.
Here's the deal: Millionaire internet marketer Russell Brunson has just released a special offline report: "The IM Myth" where he shatters the myth that internet marketing is the "be all-end all" of marketing.
You can check it out here:

Believe me, this stuff is the real deal. The marketers who absolutely annihilate their competition are the ones that incorporate offline marketing into the mix.
So check out Russell's report today before you're competition discovers it.
Thanks,
Woody
P.S. One of Russell's tips he reveals is how he moved his offline list online. This absolutely blew me away, and is something I'm going to implement in my own business immediately. So get it today, right now, while it's still on your mind.
And here's an email that took 4 minutes and 22 seconds to write that uses the very points in the sales letter.
Subject: The "covert" offline follow-up system
Body:

Or how about a ninja offline marketing tactic that humiliates traditional direct marketing methods (One of these methods set my customer help desk ablaze with people asking, "How'd you do that?!")

Or maybe how to suck the buyers OUT of your autoresponder, and contact them in a way that will guarantee 3-4 times more profits with less work.

So, which one do YOU think will be more effective?
Next time you sit down to write an email promo, think about how you can stand out from the crowd all the while getting the salivary glands of your prospects juiced up and ready to take action. What I've just shown you is one very effective way that takes very little time.
Enjoy,
Woody

You will be glad to know you are now $1 richer as I have signed up using your ID.
Let's see that ought to be worth at least one spoonful of gumbo from your favorite restaurant there in Houston.
Great tip Woody - thanks a lot.
And at least one famous "guru" has taken your advice. Within a couple of hours of reading this post I recieved an email from "Mr Marketing Expert" that looked remarkably similar to what you've written here…(snigger!)
brilliant woody!
simple yet brilliant!!
Talk about a forehead slapper! Best damn post in the history of this blog for my money.
BTW, why aren't email notices sent out announcing each of your blog posts? I get announcements for roughly half the posts on this blog. I'm not complaining; I figure this is some well thought out tactic that I just don't understand. Am I right? If I am, the explanation itself would make a damn fine blog post, no?
