Create your own competition

One of the best lessons I learned as an adult webmaster was in cloning your site under different names (and voices) in order to create your own competition.

Several companies did this with great success. Same content, different site layout.

Slightly different marketing with a different 'voice'. It appeared to searchers that these were two different companies fighting for the same space.

How can you apply this to your business?

Next time you think to yourself, 'I need to create a new product to sell', I want you to think, 'How can I increase my conversions by knocking myself off?'

Enjoy,

Woody

I would recommend using different hosts so you're not found out.

Things are easily traceable through certain tools and it's simple to see how many sites some people have and what those URLs are if they're all within the same C block IP ranges.

There's a post that explains the process here…

Of course you could just not care about other's knowing….

like all the 'car auction' and 'government records' style products on clickbank. It pretty obvious that 90% of them are by the same people.

After listening and reading to WALLACE D. WATTLES and THE SCIENCE OF GETTING RICH… he is CONVINCED to stay focused on the CREATIVE end of things as there is enough for everyone . . and if not it will be created when the time comes . . so no worries there as long as we stay in that mode of thought he explains. (much better)

If we get into the COMPETITIVE mode of thought it takes and pulls us away from the Creative "source" and then nothing there seems to flow.

SEO is Competitive.

SEO is also Creative. (I've heard it called an Art more than once)

If you do things right, & know what you're doing, and stay in the Creative mode of search optimization and marketing, I think one can go on and outrank everyone on specific money keyphrases without even worrying about the competition.

BUT: The Competition research is a big KEY to winning results and sales from the SERPs at his point. If anything new happens I'll kepp you informed, and let me know if you get a chance to read the 65 page free ebook . . formless substance and thought may make for good discussion :-)

Hi Greg, I'm glad to see someone esle reads this material too I got the audio as well.

I often think about what I learn from SOGR and reflect on how everyone esle is always trying to outdo the competition and how that is taught in all the IM material I've bought.

This is direct opposite to what SOGR teaches which is to be creative as opposed to competitive and that there is enough for all and that no one can take what is yours so need worry.
