When looking to grow your business, one of the first things you should consider is hiring someone to manage your affiliate program (you do have one, right?)

In the past, that's been a real pain in the ass.

Here's how the scenario generally plays out:

Me: I see that you want to be my affiliate manager, great. Can you tell me what you bring to the table?

Them: Duhhhh… what's a table?

Yep, it's that bad.

But there is hope.

A new program called the Affiliate Manager Certification has just been launched by the folks over at the Affiliate Classroom.

So here's how I hope my interview process goes now:

Me: I see that you want to be my affiliate manager, great. Can you tell me what you bring to the table?

Them: Duhhhh… what's a table?

Me: Don't worry, stop smoking the ganja just long enough to complete this training, if you pass and can have an intelligent conversation with me afterwards, then you are hired. Oh, and btw, here's a card to Dr. Drew's drug rehab program.

I like it when people/companies make my life easier.
